Our Price: $14.99

When you learn to drive a car, you get an instructor. You have a permit, and your first experiences driving are with an experienced driver.

When you pursue a career, you get training from experts. You earn a degree and have teachers to guide you.

When you travel to a new country, you talk to those who have been there and know the journey so they can guide you.

When you get married, you have a minister perform the ceremony. But who helps to build your marriage...?

The Marriage Mentoring: 12 Conversations program, developed by Dr. Edward Gray, is part of an intentional plan for engaging in proactive ways to help couples build and nurture stronger marriages. Couples meet once a month for a year as they develop a friendship over guided conversations about marriage. They discuss a topic about marriage with a corresponding list of suggested questions from the mentoring conversations guide. This program encourages older and younger couples to communicate and learn from each other, using a successful, happy couple as a role model. Marriage mentoring is a supportive friendship, with couples sharing their stories about the blessings, realities, and challenges of marriage!

Dr. Edward A. Gray, Professor of Counseling at Harding School of Theology, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is an approved supervisor and Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and has been a marriage and family therapist for over thirty years. Ed and his wife, Rhonda, have been married for over thirty-five years and have three adult sons.
